A 2011 graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, Sarah Coscia begins her fifth season coaching for SMASH.

Last season she coached the SMASH 13s and she has also coached for SMASH Boys.

Sarah just finished her eighth season as an assistant coach for the Babson women's volleyball program. The Beavers have won four NEWMAC Tournament championships and made six NCAA Tournament appearances during her tenure.

Coscia enjoyed a stellar playing career at UMass-Lowell where she finished fourth in program history with 1,321 kills and fifth in blocks with 306. She led the Northeast-10 Conference in scoring during her senior season and was a first-team All-Conference selection as both a junior and a senior. Coscia also earned All-New England honors in 2009.

Her post-collegiate playing career continued last summer as a member of Team New England, the region's professional volleyball squad. The team competed in the Premier Volleyball League Championship as part of the 2014 USA Volleyball Open National Championship in Phoenix, Ariz.
