SMASH doubles teams made a big impact at the August 22 Wootown/NEBV U16 juniors grass tournament in New Hampshire.
In the ten-team event, SMASH 12s teammates Anna-Julia Silva and Ruby Smith won their pool en route to a 3rd place finish, and U16 pair Carrina Barron and Cat Smith topped their pool and took the tourney title!
The Smith sisters pose a triple threat on the doubles court, with Ruby, Cat, and Milla all making waves on the outdoor juniors volleyball scene this summer.
The sporty siblings are living large and loving life while playing sand and grass tournaments throughout New England, and are currently competing in a three-week grass doubles league. Crikey!
Juniors and adults alike are excited to play in the slate of sand and grass doubles tournaments offered by New Hampshire Volleyball Club.
SMASH players have raked in many medals over the last several weeks, and there are still a variety of events remaining on the summer schedule.
Teams that have earned bids to AVP America's East Coast Championships in November include: Fiona/Gabby (U16 Beach), Logan/Sam (U16 Grass), and Annaliese/Kelsey (U16 Beach).
