Grass doubles teams deliver in NH
SMASH doubles teams made a big impact at the August 22 Wootown/NEBV U16 juniors grass tournament in New Hampshire.
In the ten-team event, SMASH 12s teammates Anna-Julia Silva and Ruby Smith won their pool en route to a 3rd place finish, and U16 pair Carrina Barron and Cat Smith topped their pool and took the tourney title!
RCO finale for SMASH Beach program
The inaugural session of SMASH Beach Volleyball wrapped up with a 10-team juniors RCO event.
Team Fiona/Michael defeated Team Gabby/Fabian in the final.
Sandy sweep in U16, second in U18
Sunday's sand volleyball tournament in Brookline, NH brought a medal haul for SMASH beach teams.
This weekend's New Hampshire Beach Volleyball juniors beach event saw competitive action in both Girls' age groups.
Corinne Herr & Emily Sun of SMASH 16s placed 2nd in U18 Gold.
The U16 Gold final was an all-SMASH 15s affair, with Emma Hampton & Ahunna James edging out Annaliese Edman and Ella Gizmunt.
