SMASH Volleyball qualified nine teams, more than any other club, for Open level divisions at the 2020 NERVA Junior Qualifier in Providence, RI.
For the first time ever, five SMASH teams will begin the NERVA season in 18 Open Gold!
Four SMASH teams will begin the regional series in 16 Open divisions.
Next up for nine SMASH Girls teams are Presidents' Day tournaments in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Washington, D.C.
SMASH Volleyball Club had seven teams in action at the second weekend of New England Winterfest in Hartford, CT.
SMASH 18s and 18s Attack finished 1st and 2nd in 18 Open Gold.
SMASH 17s and 17s Black Ice finished 1st and 3rd in 17 Open Gold.
SMASH 16s tied for 3rd in 16 Open Gold, 16s Sparks tied for 3rd in 16 Open Silver A, and 16s eXtreme won 16 Open Bronze A.
SMASH club director Richard Barton was hugely impressed: "We have such entirely motivated players, coaches, and families who ruled the weekend at Winterfest and Rochester Can-Am. This includes teams at every age level and is irrespective of record; SMASH reinforced its position as the top club (of 85) in New England."
Ten SMASH Girls teams will be in Providence, RI two weeks from now for the NERVA Junior Qualifier.
