NERVA HP Teams Compete In Tulsa

 

SMASH athletes traveled to Tulsa, OK for the 2018 USAV High Performance Championships. The 5-day tournament featured international teams, national HP teams, and regional HP teams. 

The New England Junior team included 7/11 current or former SMASH players and finished 15th of 20 in the Women's International Junior division. NERVA HP also entered a Boys Youth team and two Girls Youth teams. 

New England U14 & U18 Champions!

SMASH Wins Five Tournaments At NERVA Championships

 

SMASH Volleyball Club travel teams won 5 out of 8 tournaments contested at the NERVA Championships on May 6, 2018. 

12/16 teams made the semi-finals or higher!

SMASH 17s won U18 Open Gold and SMASH 14s Fire won U14 Gold.

Other SMASH teams winning their final regional event were SMASH 10s (champions of 12B), SMASH 12s Energy (champions of 12A), and SMASH 14s (champions of 16AA).

In New England, SMASH had the top-ranked 10s, 14s, 15s, 17s, and 18s teams, the 2nd-ranked 13s and 16s teams, and the 3rd-ranked 12s team.

In U18, SMASH had 4 of the top 8 teams in New England (17s, Attack, 18s, Jets).

In U16, SMASH had 4 of the top 9 teams in New England (16s, Sparks, eXtreme, 15s).

In U14, SMASH had 3 of the top 14 teams in New England (Fire, 13s, Ice).

In U12, SMASH had 3 of the top 13 teams in New England (12s, Energy, 10s).

SMASH 18s Attack in Anaheim

USAV Girls' 18s Junior National Championships

 

SMASH 18s Attack competed April 27-29 at the USAV Girls' 18s Junior National Championships in Anaheim, CA.

18s Attack used the New England Region's bid to enter the 18 National division, the second highest of five levels of competition.   

Attack will conclude the 2018 season next weekend at the NERVA 18 Gold Championships in Windsor, CT.
