SMASH Volleyball Club sent nine teams to the 2018 Big South National Qualifier, the largest 3-day junior girls tournament in the country.
Eager to spend Easter weekend in the Southern sunshine, SMASH teams were excited to travel out of New England for the opportunity to compete against clubs from Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
SMASH posted a combined 48-21 match record, with five teams finishing in Gold and three teams winning their Flight on Sunday.
Congratulations to all athletes for representing their club and region with distinction at Big South, and thank you to all families for supporting this excellent experience.

16s Sparks went undefeated through Day 1 & 2 in 16 American, the tournament's largest division, and finished 9th out of 152 teams!
SMASH 15s reeled off six straight match wins in 15 American en route to their Flight 2B victory!
SMASH 14s rode the wave in 14 American and finished strong on Sunday with an Adventure Mode win in the Flight 4B final :)
