Four dozen athletes ages 12-17 are spending 30 hours in training during the last week of July at the 2017 SMASH Setter Camp.
Each day at the Rivers School in Weston, MA these dynamic volleyball players are honing their mechanics, technique, strategic acumen, and leadership skills at one of the most unique volleyball camps in New England.
Directed by MGVCA Hall of Fame coach Richard Barton, the group of coed campers are developing their ability to direct an offense and marshal their teammates' competitive intent.
Under the guidance of a coaching staff that includes state and regional champions, multiple POYs, and international experience, these middle- and high-school players are putting in incredible effort and are eager to bring their skills to the court this fall.
