SMASH @ New England Winterfest
Eight Girls teams in Hartford
Eight of the younger SMASH Girls teams were in Hartford, CT for the third weekend of New England Winterfest, with 54 clubs attending from NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, ME and Quebec. SMASH won three of the four age groups, plus two runners-up. Congrats to all athletes and coaches for a successful tournament on and off the court!
SMASH 12s rocked a last-minute 6-3 offense with 7 healthy players and didn't drop a set in 12 Club!
SMASH 13s stormed through an enormous 13 Club division without dropping a set in Coach Ingrid's SMASH debut!
It was a 14 Open three-peat for Coach Jeff, with SMASH 14s scoring some gritty wins against very strong teams from CALI and GVC!
36 teams in 13 Club and an all-SMASH final, with runners-up 13s Thunder delivering a string of mighty victories over two days of play!
