SMASH Volleyball Club members received honors from the Eastern Independent League for their outstanding 2022 seasons.

Newton Country Day was the EIL regular season and league tournament champion, a NEPSAC Class B semifinalist for the second year running, and the Class B Sportsmanship Award recipient.

Huge congratulations to NCD sophomore setter Emi Powderly for receiving EIL Player of the Year recognition, and NCD coach Preston Yong for receiving Coach of the Year recognition!
