SMASH 11s headed south on Saturday April 13 to Riverside, RI for the second and final U11 Tripleball event of 2019.  Many thanks to Blast for hosting this NERVA-sponsored friendship tournament. 

The 11s were undefeated in pool play and went on to claim their second silver medal in as many tournaments!

After working on basic skills this winter in the SMASH Young Athlete Program, the 11s trained together as a team under coach Natalija Beslic for an additional seven weeks. 

Coach Ellana Benabou was impressed with the 11s' performance on Saturday.  "We had strong overhand serving and many great 3-contact rallies, and our energy and communication was so positive!"
