He is currently the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for both the men's and women's volleyball teams at Emerson College. Jake joined the Lions in 2019 and has helped lead the women's team to their most successful year in program history in 2022 with a record of 18-5. 

 

Before Emerson, Jake was the assistant coach for women's volleyball at Massachusetts Maritime Academy from 2017-2019, and he was a student assistant at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth while earning his undergraduate degree in economics.  

 

In addition to Jake's collegiate coaching experience, he has coached club for 10 years with stops at Max Performance, Coastal, and Blast. Jake also has been a head coach at North East Beach Volleyball for 5 seasons. 

 

An avid beach volleyball player playing in Men's Open/AA and Coed AA   tournaments all over New England. 

 

Jake is currently in a physical education masters degree program at Bridgewater State University with a concentration in coaching education.
