18+Under's: 2 teams in top 10, 3 in top 20 (in all of New England!)
16+Unders: 2 teams tied for 5th, 3 in top 20 (in all of New England!)
EVERY SMASH team was in New England Open Gold, AA, or A
The MA Gatorade Player of the Year for 2006, 2007, and 2008 were all SMASH players (Emily Harburg, Mina Baban, Caitlin Barrett)
SMASH VOLLEYBALL proudly finished the 2008 season as the CHAMPIONS of the two major age-groups in New England (18+Unders and 16+Unders)
The Boston Globe 2008 All-Scholastic Div I Coach of the Year, , Div II Player of the Year, Div III player of the Year, NEPSAC Player of the Year, and 3 other All-Scholastics, the 2007 Mass. Gatorade Player of the Year, 8 members of the Mass. Coaches Assoc. 2007 All-State Team, and 16 All-League players are played on 2008 SMASH Travel Teams!
In 2008, SMASH finished 1st and 5th in the 18's Open Gold (highest level) and and 1st and 11th in the 16's Open Gold! Our 18's Storm lost in the finals of NE Open Silver Division, and our 15's team finished 7th in NE 16 Open Silver.
