Beantown Boy's Junior Olympic Club Coach. 2002-2007  While there, his teams won multiple regional championships and he headed the first team ever from New England (boy's or girls) to qualify for the Open Division at the National Championships. The team repeated that feat again the following year, finishing in the top 25 nationally both times.

Michael attended Northeastern University where he captained the men's volleyball team and earned all-conference honors.
