Tryouts for 2011-2012

The tryouts for our 2012 SMASH Travel Teams have been completed.  

Thank you to every single player and family who tried out for our teams; we are extremely appreciative.

SMASH will be fielding 12 teams, 118 players from 52 different schools!!!  270 players tried out.

Below are details about the tryouts for SMASH Volleyball's Travel Teams for the 2012 USA Volleyball Juniors season.

                  18+Unders Callbacks (by invitation) Sunday Nov. 20, 10-1 at Hawthorn  

              17+Unders Callbacks (by invitation) Sunday Nov. 20, 3:15-5:30 at Newton North HS  

    16+Unders and 15+Unders:   

                Sunday, Nov. 20:  10 AM - 3 PM (Note 'double' session: bring lunch) at Newton North HS

SMASH intends to field very strong teams in ALL age-groups.  We are ready to seriously train our teams.  Become even more motivated!

If not sure about a club to play or try out for, try out for SMASH and get a sense of the coaching, potential teammates, and

our organization.   Last season SMASH had players from 54 different schools on our travel teams: this is competitive and cool!

The tryouts ovelap the MIAA high school season for many players; yet we find athletes strongest at this time.  

We watch as many potential SMASH players during the high school season!
